I bet you didn't know Nate Burleson, the Cleveland Brown and former Detroit Lions Wide Receiver, has a budding rap career.

Yep, and he's decent to say the least. Burleson is collaborating with rapper and Michigan native, Ryan Scott and they are set to release their single, "LionBlood" on Oct. 28, 2014.
Burleson is clearly a multi-talented man. In an interview with 101WRIF last March, he said music and rap in particular has always been a big part of his life. In fact, back in 2007 (when Burleson was a Seattle Seahawk), Burleson teamed up with Seattle native, Macklemore on his early album, The Book of Wizdom, under the stage name, New Balance.
Fast forward to 2014. Nate Burleson is no longer a Detroit Lion, but his collaboration with Ryan Scott shows his heart still lies in the Mitten.
As Burleson said in the 101WRIF interview, "Once a Lion, always a Lion."
