El Quigg, one half of the Fake Lorist duo, may be better known for his finess behind the audio board, and his skill behind the synth. But let it be known El Quigg can spit, as his recent streak of singles has proven just that.

His latest drop, "Ugh" (prod. Purple Neezy) is a California livin' and lovin' track, featuring an electronic beat that exposes a new, more personal side of El Quigg. But the best part is the hook, one of El Quigg's specialties (in my opinion). He raps, "Sittin' here with you girl, there's no place I'd rather be, no place I'd rather be, there ain't no place I'd rather be//Sittin' here with you girl, my one-and-only, it's true girl//There's no place I'd rather be, no place I'd rather be," an ode to his long-time girlfriend and childhood sweetheart.
El Quigg tells me, "it's how I felt when she came and visited me here (in L.A.)."
El Quigg also released an instrumental track, "2248," showing off his dynamic and more refined production skills.
