1. "Used To"--Lil' Wayne feat. Drake
In the midst of a $51 million lawsuit Lil' Wayne is bringing against his mentor, and Co-Founder of Cash Money Records, Bryan "Birdman" Williams, he released his mixtape, "Sorry For The Wait 2." The mixtape's title calling attention, of course, to the very issue Wayne is suing his label over--a twice delayed release of "The Carter V," Lil Wayne's latest "overdue" album that he claims Birdman sabotaged, claiming he even shorted him $10 million for the record.
In hip hop, the more beef, often the better the album, and Weezy went in on this mixtape, letting the beef fuel the fire. There are better songs on the tape than "Used To," sure, but something about Weezy releasing a track with Drake after suing for royalty fees from his Young Money recordings that packs a punch.
