1. "You & The 6"--Drake

  • Lately, I haven't been a huge Drake fan--but I listened to the entire album, "If Youre Reading This Its Too Late," from start to finish, and Drake might be back on my list. The best part about this album is that Drake actually dives into new content and somewhat new styles. This track in particular sheds light on Drake's family life in a dialogue between him and his mother. Additionally, the album has a solid mix of Drake rapping and singing (which is nice if you're like me and appreciate both). He switches up his flow fairly often on this one, maybe not as much as Nothing Was The Same, but enough to not get bored with bumpin' it. To be honest, his last project (mentioned above), was not my favorite and after seeing him perform I started hatin'...but again, his 2015 drop helps him redeem himself in my eyes. "You & The 6" is by far one of the better tracks--check it out.
